SWL Receiver Noise Reduction
Do you have high noise levels on your shortwave receiver? Much of this noise is common mode noise picked up on your coaxial feed line from electronic devices in your home or from the neighborhood. Much of this “noise” can be suppressed with a common mode noise filter for coax lines. For SWL’s the most popular is the CMNF-6 available with SO-239, F or BNC connectors and simply plugs in line with your coax next to your receiver.
