Fan Dipole for 80/40 Meters - 500/1500/5000 Options
Product Details

Palomar Engineers Fan Dipole kit for 80 and 40 meters. Choose 500, 1500 or 5000 watts PEP option. 135 feet wide for 80 meters and 66 feet wide for 40 meters. For best results install so end are 5 feet apart and as high as possible.

Dipole wire kits come assembled to selected balun - just add coax and raise with paracord and use our pulleys for ease of installation. Keep each dipole end approximately 36 inches minimum apart if possible. Adjust 80 meter length first and then 40 meter length as there will be some interaction with each other.

You can also add additional option dipole kits. Just add to cart in addition to this antenna. Be sure to space ends 3-5 feet away from the other dipoles. Tune the lowest frequency first, then next highest, etc.

If you want different band combinations, choose the dipole wire kits needed and then select the Bullet-1B-500, CB-1-150EB or CB-1-5000EB for 500/1500/5000 watts rating.

You can have more than 2 bands on a fan dipole, just select an additional band using our convenient Dipole Wire Kits!

TUBE feed line chokes/Line Isolators are used to suppress common mode current carried on the outside of the  coax braid which is often responsible for receiver noise and RFI in the receiver/transmitter. These chokes are very useful for suppressing RFI common mode current at the antenna feed point, at 1/4 wavelength intervals along the coax feed line and also at the entrance to the radio station.  They are available with various input and output connectors so as to conveniently connect to standard output connectors already installed on your feed line.

Palomar Engineers TUBE feed line chokes are designed to have 2-5 times more choking impedance over a broader frequency range than competitor units in similar packaging.  Each choke has the choking impedance and effective frequency range on the product label so you can choose the product best suited for your application.
