The Ferrite Snap On, Ring and slip on sampler Pack is a convenient solution for

troubleshooting RFI/EMI with various diameter cables ranging from 1/4″

to 1.4″ for use as either single turn or multiple turn ferrite chokes using ferrite rings, slip on beads and snap on beads.

The filters are useful for RF coax, AC/DC power cables, and device interconnection cables.

Always use a snap on or ring with a larger inside diameter than the diameter of the cable and use multiple turns if possible (2 turns through the snap on is the same as 4 snap ons with 1 turn). Included in these combo packs are our most popular snap on sizes as follows:

Combo Pack includes the following:

F240-31 ring – 1.4 inch ID – 2 pieces

FSB31-1/4 – 1/4 inch ID – 4 pieces

FSB31-3/8 – 3/8 inch ID – 4 pieces

FSB31-1/2 – ½ inch ID – 4 pieces

FSB31-3/4 – 3/4 inch ID – 2 pieces

FSB31-1 – 1 inch ID – 1 pieces

FB102-31 - 1/2 inch ID slip on bead - 4 pieces

FB56-31 - 1/4" ID slip on bead - 4 pieces inch

50 ohm coax to 75 ohm balanced output baluns are useful for low (< 1 wavelength) dipoles exhibiting 75 ohm characteristic impedance or for matching to balanced ladder line whose endpoint impedance is near 75 ohms.

50 ohm coax to 75 ohm CATV coax connections are easily done with a 1.5:1 unun with SO-239 connectors on input and output.  Likewise 50 ohm coax to unbalanced verticals or loads near 75 ohms can be matched with a 1.5:1 unun.
