This ferrrite Multi-Ring/Multi-Snap-On Combo Pack is a convenient solution for troubleshooting RFI/EMI (200 - 2000 MHz) with various diameter cables ranging from 1/4" to 1.4"/35.6mm for use as either single turn or multiple turn RFI filters using ferrite rings and snap-ons.

The filters are useful for RF coax, AC/DC power cables, and device interconnection cables. This frequency range is used in switching power supplies, variable speed motors, LED light dimmers and many other DC control circuits. Use on inputs and outputs of these devices to reduce or eliminate RFI.

Always use a snap on or ring with a larger inside diameter than the diameter of the cable and use multiple turns if possible (2 turns through the snap on is the same as 4 snap ons with 1 turn). Included in these combo packs are our most popular snap on sizes as follows:

Combo Pack includes the following:

F240-61 ring – 1.4″/35.6mm ID – 4 pieces

FSB61-1/4 – 1.4"/6.3mm ID – 6 pieces

FSB61-1/2 – 1/2″/12.7mm ID – 4 pieces

Normal Retail price is $106 for these parts - buy more than 1 set and save even more!

Use multiple turns thru the center for best results.

Mobile RFI kits work two ways: They suppress RFI from on board computers and other sensing/control devices in your vehicle that may cause your radio to be a VICTIM of RFI, and second they suppress RFI generated by your radio as a SOURCE which may affect your on board computers or other devices.  Mobile operations of HF radios (1-30 Mhz) tend to experience more RFI effects than VHF/UHF mobile stations.  If you have both HF and VHF installations in your vehicles, you may need both kits.

To address separate solutions we have developed two separate RFI kits: one for HF (1.8-300 MHz) mobile installations and another for VHF/UHF (30-1000 MHz) mobile installations.  Each kit uses the appropriate ferrite mix for the frequency range desired.
