Choose 500 W / 1.5 kW / 5 kW baluns. Upgrade later by swapping the balun.
Quick setup checklist
- Center support ≳ 30 ft, ends ≳ 15 ft; total angle 120–180°.
- Run ladder line vertically/clear for ~40 ft to the coax-interface balun.
- Weatherproof junctions; add a CMNF at the radio to reduce braid-borne noise.
Tip: Pair with a MAXI-CHOKER™ at the feed-point (where applicable) and a CMNF at the radio for a quieter station.
