Tube Sets

Tubemeister.us has replacement tube sets for many Palomar linears.  Many of the final tubes have not been in production for many years and we do our best to use new or tubes that test at NOS (New old stock) levels for replacement tubes for these units.  Due to the age of the units, new/replacement tubes may not be the only issue.  Sometimes the power supply caps, resistors and coupling caps will need to be replaced to restore full power.  However a replacement set of tubes will eliminate one possibility for low power and other issues will still have to be addressed.  All tubes are tested prior to shipment and plate current matched to within 10% for pairs, quads and sextets.

* 6LB6 kit includes rewire instructions for 8950 replacement – filaments need to rewired in series for 6 volt tubes rather instead of parallel for 12 volt tubes (8950).
