Using ferrite beads,snap on beads, and rings to suppress RFI into consumer electronics equipment including home theater systems, garage door openers, alarm systems, computers, AM radios, and household appliances.

A very affective approach is to use ferrite filters to reduce the amount of RFI entering the equipment (called protecting the VICTIM) or alternately, suppressing the RFI leaving a SOURCE that uses any attached wire as a transmitting antenna.
