We call this antenna a “classic” because amateurs have been using it for more than 100 years in the form of a two wire dipole. Little did they know, you can cut one wire off, save the space, need only two supports and use the coax shield and a simple choke and work more DX without any extra effort! This antenna will allow you to operate on several HF frequency bands, and it radiates signals efficiently, sending much of the RF energy from your radio to far-flung corners of the world.
