5000 Watt PEP Rated 4:1 CUBE Baluns™

Th CB-4-5000 balun feature twelve core ferrites configured as a current balun in a weather resistant enclosure box. Input is via SO-239/N coax connector and output can be top studs, side studs or side eye hooks (2) and top eye hook used as a halyard hoist for supporting your wire antenna. Rated 5000 Watts PEP Watts from 1-61 MHz. Enclosure is 4″ x 4″ x 2″. Binocular core ferrite technology is excellent for wide bandwidth, low losses and high duty cycle modes like RTTY, FT8, ALE, AM, CW, etc at 5KW PEP.

It is recommended to use a feed line choke like the MC-1-5000 or CU-1-5000SO to isolate the coax feed line from the antenna. A CMNF-5000 coax noise filter at the radio receiver is also recommended to reduce coax common mode noise.
