OCF antennas are very convenient as they will allow multiple bands of operation with a simple wire antenna which is fed off center with a 4:1 OCF Current balun with built in feed line choke,
The CU-81-1000VLFN is a 64:1 quad core, Unun housed in a NEMA enclosure box (4″ x 4″ x 2″) with top coax connector output of 4050 ohms used to translate a 50 Ω unbalanced coax input to 4050 Ω unbalanced output at RF power levels up to 1000 watts PEP. With a matched 4050 ohm load the SWR over the frequency range 150 KHz to 3 MHz is less than 2:1 on the coax input.
The GROUND terminal is connected to the 50 Ω INPUT connector shield.
Input and output connectors are type "N".
Also includes ground lug/wingnut connected to input and output shield connectors.
Note: Picture shows unun with 9:! ratio which is shown for illustration of the form factor. Actual 16:1 balun will have the proper label and frequency range.
