The CU-9-1500VLFN is a 9:1 quad core, Unun housed in a NEMA enclosure box (4″ x 4″ x 2″) with top coax connector output of 450 ohms used to translate a 50 Ω unbalanced coax input to 450 Ω unbalanced output at RF power levels up to 1000 watts PEP when used with a matched load. With a matched 450 ohm load the SWR over the frequency range 100 KHz to 10 MHz is less than 2:1 on the coax input (see graph for SWR at specific frequencies).

Use of the unun at high (>600 ohms) or low (<300) will require reduced power input or the unun may have its power ratings exceeded and damage may occur. The (9:1 conversion ratio may change for loads other than 450 ohms balanced). The GROUND terminal is connected to the 50 Ω INPUT connector shield.

Input and output connectors are type "N".

Also includes ground lug/wingnut connected to input and output shield connectors.
